Dr. Olugbenga Oredein received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed his residency program at Howard University Hospital in 1979. Board certified by the American Board of Gynecologists, he is also a Fellow with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Oredein is a clinical instructor with the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond and serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine with Eastern Virginian Medical School, Norfolk.
Dr. Lucas is a Fellow of American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Lucas studied pre-medical courses at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., and Tulane University in New Orleans, La. He earned his doctorate of medicine from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he also served an internship in general surgery and completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
An associate clinical professor at George Washington University School of Medicine and Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Dr. Lucas has trained residents and medical students in clinic, rounds, the operating room, and in labor and delivery. Dr. Lucas has also recently published an article in the prestigious Green Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.Dr. Lucas is a member of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Gynecologic Surgical Society, National Medical Association, Old Dominion Medical Society, Medical Society of Virginia and Southern Medical Association.
Renee Morales, MD is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist. She received her bachelor of arts from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama and obtained her medical degree from University of Alabama School of Medicine, also in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Morales went on to complete her first two years of residency at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina and finished her final two years of residency at University of South Carolina School of Medicine-Greenville, Greenville Hospital Systems in Greenville, South Carolina.
Dr. Morales is a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a member of the member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She is trained in da Vinci robotic surgery and minimally invasive surgical techniques. She enjoys all aspects of OB/GYN and has a special interest in not the latest surgical techniques, vulvar disease and adolescent health.
Dr. Morales is conversant in Spanish as a second language. She is married to her wonderful husband, Trevor, and has two young daughters, Zoe and Scarlett. In her free time, Dr. Morales enjoys church, spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, fishing, relaxing at the beach, and exercising.
Shaughanassee Williams, NP, CNM, is a nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife. She received her bachelor of science in nursing and master of science in nursing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and obtained her nurse midwifery certification from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia.
Before joining Bon Secours, Ms. Williams had a long history of working in public health and assisting patients and communities with their primary care and reproductive medicine needs. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners. She is active in her community through her church and organizations, such as the Urban League of Hampton Roads and her own nonprofit, Midwife Speaks.
Ms. Williams has special interests in adolescent health, teen pregnancy and PCOS. Her hobbies include traveling, event planning and spending quality time with family.
